Ever tried to recall details from a situation that occurred months ago? Hard isn’t it!? Try two years ago! Properly investigating employee complaints and documenting your investigation is not always easy, but essential. During this presentation we will review different scenarios where an investigation and documentation is necessary and look at what all should be involved.

With over 10 years of experience (and half the alphabet) in human resources and professional speaking, Katie Stewart brings charismatic and informative presentations to audiences of all sizes. While working with organizations of variable sizes and in a wide range of industries, Katie has deepened her knowledge in the large realm of human resources including organizational development, employment law, risk and safety management, training & development, benefits and payroll. Her passion in working with people, whether its one-on-one or in a large group setting, is evident in the enthusiasm she brings to any HR topic.

Katie currently serves as the Director, Strategic Accounts for a Professional Employer Organization (PEO) called Tandem HR. Here she partners with the C-Suite of our client organizations on their strategic HR goals. She accomplishes all of this while working remote four days per week from her home in Michigan.
Katie is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the HR Group of West Michigan. When not spending time on the clock, you’ll find Katie and her philanthropic heart volunteering for any number of organizations including Feed My Starving Children, Habitat for Humanity, in the nursery and the administrative department of Impact – A Wesleyan Church in her hometown. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children in the great outdoors of beautiful Michigan and traveling.
